Daniel 4:1-37
In this chapter, King Nebuchadnezzar shared his remarkable testimony of how the King of heaven humbled him in the most extraordinary way, which resulted in his radical conversion when he finally acknowledged the Most High God as the supreme, everlasting ruler of the universe and submitted his life to Him as his sovereign King.
1. THE KING’S DECLARATION (vv. 1-3)
2. THE KING’S VISION (vv. 4-18)
3. THE KING’S CAUTION (vv. 19-27)
4. THE KING’S HUMILIATION (vv. 28-33)
5. THE KING’S CONVERSION (vv. 34-37)
Praise and thank God for graciously and powerfully undoing Satan’s initial attempt to be like God and lead man into sin by humbling Himself and becoming like man and dying in our place to pay the penalty for our prideful rebellion against Him. Ask God to help you to never boast in anything except the cross of your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (cf. Galatians 6:14).
