Daniel 11:36-12:13

This final chapter serves as the light at the end of the tunnel for the nation of Israel. Even though they will have to endure thousands of years of divine discipline for rebelling against God by rejecting Jesus Christ as their Messiah and accepting Satan’s counterfeit Messiah - the Antichrist - in His place, there is still a happy ending. In Israel’s darkest hour during the days of the Great Tribulation when they will be deceived and abused by the Antichrist, God will come to their rescue through the return of their true Messiah, Jesus Christ. As we await Christ’s second coming, we can look to the future with hope and faith in God’s omnipotent sovereignty knowing that He reigns over all things and will bring all these things to pass in His way and in His time.

Praise God that He is the omnipotent King of kings and Lord of lords who will reign forever and ever. Ask Him to grant you hope and faith in the midst of life’s tribulations and uncertainties so you will not be anxious or lose hope but keep on trusting Him until He returns or calls you home.
